Killarny sits in the south west of Ireland. It's pretty much impossible to look in any direction and not see green.

More than anything, it was nature that made me never want to leave. For some magical reason, nature has a way of making nothing else matter.

Outside the hostel where I stayed in Killarney was O'Sullivan's Bike Rental, so on my first day there I picked up this bike and took a 55km ride through the Gap of Dunloe, a scenic rolling hills ride along timeless roads.

RIght around here is where I began to wonder if I was still on the right path. I felt like I was lost in a fairytale and was floating somewhere between concerned and enchanted. |

Joyce flew to Ireland from London to meet up with me. We rented a car and traveled the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula for two spectacular days.

I've always loved cows, and not just because of impressive talents like this.

The dark square rock sitting just above the water in the center is where I sat alone and enjoyed my PB&J sandwich, my last lunch before starting my trek homeward. The journey was something my soul had been begging for, and in that moment I wasn't sure I had imbibed all I could. I felt like I was flying while carrying a boulder. But I'm endlessly thankful for all I learned.
