	Channel Islands - February 2007 The island was a little dry this time around so if you want to see what the island itself looks like, I have better land shots in the two Channel Islands photo galleries below. This one has more of the trips out and back, a few from land, and a special little intro story.
	Mt. Whitney - August 2006 This one is about the journey more than the photos. Mike and I hiked to the 14,496 foot summit of Mount Whitney in a day (and it really did take us just about all day).
	Jamaica - April 2006 In and around Whitehouse, Jamaica (about ninty minutes outside of Montego Bay).

	Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - May 2005 15 photos A brief sample of the trip. Rio has roughly 9 million people and the majority of them seem to go to the beach every day.
	Iguazu, Argentina - May 2005 28 photos Iguazu Falls divides the south of Brazil from the North of Argentina, and shortly down the river it forks off to also divide Paraguay. The falls are the largest in the world, with over 3 kilometers of waterfall (450,000 cubic feet of water per second in rainy season). The 269 foot deep crack in the earth's surface is the result of volcanic eruption.
	Amazon, Brazil - May 2005 39 photos Four days in the Amazon is hardly enough when you realize that in Brazil alone there are 1.28 million square miles of Amazon jungle, and that's not counting the nine other countries it resides in. None the less, no matter how much time you have to spend, go there!
	Amsterdam, Netherlands - May/June 2004 69 photos Photographing Amsterdam is fun, as long as you don't point your camera where you're not supposed to. Bikes, canals and interesting roads & structures are everywhere you turn.
	London, England - May/June 2004 45 photos This London trip was mostly to spend time with close friends, sort of my second family. Also did a bit of playing around in the city.
	Scotland - May/June 2004 99 photos At the last minute my plans changed from France to the Scottish Highlands when I met a Scottish girl in London who's brother lives in the Highlands and loves to backpack. So with a day's notice I was in Scotland with a pack on my back (aka Heaven). These 99 photos were my attempt at narrowing down from the original 162.
	Ireland - May/June 2004 48 photos Most of my time in Ireland was spent in and around Killarney in the south west of the country. I hear I lucked out with very little rain for the week I was there. If music turns you on, Ireland should light you on fire. But the scenery, the people and the clean air are just as wonderful. Ireland was one of my top three favorite destinations so far. 	Channel Islands, California - January 2003 & 2004 48 photos Each January, Mike and I take a camping trip somewhere. In '03 we picked Santa Cruz Island, part of the Channel Islands off the coast of Ventura. We loved the trip so much we went back in '04.
	Mammoth, California - August 2003 27 photos Dave and I took a trip up to Mammoth in August primarily for mountain biking, but that wasn't a photo day. These are from our day of hiking.
	Lake Mead, Nevada - June 2003 21 photos Each July a great group of friends gather and head out to Lake Mead to see what our aging bodies can still handle. It's all just a lot of good fun (Advil assisted). These may not be so interesting to those who didn't go except for a few good flights and landings. For those of you who did go, here's all 120 photos.
	Carlsbad Flower Fields, California - May 2003 32 photos For Mother's Day, Mom and I took a drive down to San Diego and spent the day at the flower fields. Hundreds of thousands of renuculas. It was the last day the fields were open for the season.
	Montana de Oro, California - April 2003 45 photos April is a cold and windy time to camp in Montana de Oro but it's none the less beautiful there. Great sand dunes, great sunsets, lots of flowers and wildlife, and plenty of great hiking to do. Stephanie and I took our mountain bikes, hiking boots and cameras and played for a few fun days.
	Hawaii (The Big Island) - May 2002 27 photos No great photos here, just a fun trip out to Hawaii for Mary Jill's wedding and Dave's 40th birthday.
	Kauai, Hawaii - May 2002 31 photos After the wedding the group went back to LA and I went on to Kauai for a week alone.
	Butchart Gardens, Vancouver Island, Canada - May 2002 14 photos On a rainy winter day in Canada, the light was less than perfect and the flowers were less than in full bloom, but any day in Butchart Gardens is a beautiful day.
	Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, Florence & Rome - June 2001 39 photos The last of my pre-digital camera journeys. This was a restless couple weeks of traveling by train and foot through some of Western Europe's most spectular cities along the popular route.
